We mediate all kinds of conflicts such as:
- Conflict between neighbours
- Noise complaints
- Housing disputes

VOLUNTEER Community Mediator Training Programme (Part 1, FETAC level 6) - Spring 2010
Course Content
The course is divided into four main themes as follows;
- An introduction to mediation
- Managing a Private Mediation Meeting
- Managing a joint mediation meeting
- Working as a community mediator
Each theme has a number of learning outcomes. The course will involve written work, group work, role-play and tutorials.
Students will collate a portfolio of evidence during the course.
Dates of Course:
7th, 8th, 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th of May
19th, 25th and 26th of June
Times: Fridays 2.30 pm to 9.30 pm
Saturdays 9.30 am to 5pm
Venue: Axis Centre, Ballymun
Deadline for application: 28th April 2010
Preferred Entry level: National Vocational Certificate Level 5, Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualifications and /or relevant life and work experiences.
The Fee for this course is €350 for Ballymun Participants and €500 for other participants. The rate for community groups / organisations negotiable.
