CONTENT

An introductory course on Irish Child Law consisting of four sessions

The course will consider child law in Ireland today and will look at the Constitution, legislation, case law and European Convention on Human Rights.
It will examine the law in relation to children including guardianship, custody, access, maintenance and the Child Care Act 1991 and the Child and Family Relationships Act 2015.

The course is ideal for anyone working in family support, information or advocacy roles or anyone with an interest in this area of law. No previous knowledge of the law is necessary.

Venue: Ballymun Community Law Centre, Unit 1A Shangan Neighbourhood Centre, Shangan Rd, Ballymun, Dublin 9.
