Introduction to Family Law: Jan & Feb 2023

The course will be delivered in person in BCLC, Shangan Rd, Ballymun.

CONTENT

The course will consider what is family law in Ireland today and will look at the Constitution, legislation, case law and the European Convention on Human Rights.

It will examine the law in relation to family, children, child care, cohabitation, marriage, separation and divorce.

This course is suitable for anyone working in advice or advocacy roles in the community, or anyone with an interest in this area of law. The course places are limited and it be will a small group with plenty of interaction. No previous legal knowledge is required.

Venue: Ballymun Community Law Centre, Unit 1A Shangan Neighbourhood Centre, Shangan Rd, Ballymun, Dublin 9.

Fee: course fee €50.
