The talk will cover: • What a refugee is and the definition. • What kinds of protection exist for people fleeing persecution and conflict? • The application process for asylum in Ireland. • The law that applies. • How the application process operates in practice. • The appeals process. • How unaccompanied minors and children are dealt with. The talk will be delivered using Zoom. You will need access to a stable internet connection and a laptop, computer, tablet or smart phone.
